To ensure you enjoy the lifetime of your cookware, our products are backed by a tiered warranty structure, tailored to the different components of your cookware.

Our Tiered Warranty Structure

Cast Aluminium Body 10-Year Limited Warranty Covers structural cracking, casting defects, or warping under normal domestic cooking conditions.
Ceramic Non-Stick Interior 2-Year Limited Warranty Covers manufacturing defects in the coating, such as spontaneous peeling, bubbling, or blistering.
Glass Lids & Accessories No Warranty Excluded from the long-term warranty. Covers only out-of-box defects reported within 7 days of purchase.

 

The Details: What is Covered

  1. Cast Aluminum Body (10-Year Limited Warranty)
    AluChef warrants the cast aluminum body of the cookware to be free from defects in materials and manufacturing workmanship for a period of ten (10) years from the original date of purchase. If the body of the pan cracks, structurally fails, or warps under normal domestic cooking conditions (strictly following our care instructions), we will replace it.
  2. Ceramic Non-Stick Interior Coating (2-Year Limited Warranty)
    The ceramic interior coating is warranted against manufacturing defects (such as spontaneous peeling, bubbling, or blistering of the non-stick material) for a period of two (2) years from the original date of purchase.

Strict Exclusions: What is NOT Covered

This warranty is strictly limited to manufacturing defects and does not cover damage resulting from normal wear and tear, accident, misuse, abuse, commercial use, or neglect. The following are explicitly excluded from all warranties:

  • Normal Wear & Tear of Ceramic: The gradual reduction of non-stick release properties over time is natural for all ceramic cookware and is not considered a manufacturing defect.
  • Scratches, Scuffs, and Gouges: Physical damage to the ceramic interior caused by the use of metal utensils (forks, knives, metal spatulas), sharp objects, or abrasive cleaning tools (such as steel wool, scouring pads, or harsh chemical abrasives).
  • Thermal Shock: Warping or cracking caused by exposing a hot pan to rapid temperature changes (e.g., placing a hot pan directly into cold water or onto a wet surface).
  • Overheating & Carbonisation: Discolouration, dulling, staining, or loss of non-stick capability caused by overheating the pan (using high heat without food/liquid inside) or cooking with aerosol cooking sprays (which contain propellants that bake permanently onto ceramic surfaces).
  • Glass Lids, Knobs, and Handles: Breakage, cracking, or shattering of glass lids, or damage to handles, knobs, and silicone trims, as these are subject to accidental drops and impact.
  • Commercial Use: Any AluChef product used in a commercial, professional, catering, or non-residential kitchen setting is excluded from this warranty.
